Use it when you already have one Japanese partner and a small prepared sentence. Leave it if the feed becomes the habit. Tandem is the same exchange job. Do not add both.

Correction quality is uneven because partners are uneven. If you need structured notes on a paragraph, LangCorrect or a tutor is the closer fit.

italki when you will pay a person

italki is a tutor marketplace. The official site lists 1-on-1 Japanese lessons with no subscription, plus community posts that can receive feedback from other learners. The writing job is a lesson you book with a clear request: review this paragraph, this diary, or this homework.

Lesson quality varies because you choose the person. Community-post feedback is not the same as a teacher pass. Do not treat italki as a dedicated writing workshop.
