Grammar resources do two different jobs. Some explain the pattern. Others make you produce it.
If you need the explanation
Start with Tae Kim. It is free, complete enough for beginners, and easy to search when a textbook note is thin. Imabi is the deeper free reference once you already have a beginner path.
If you understand it but cannot retrieve it

If you want grammar inside a course
