Game Gengo teaches Japanese through video games. The official site points to a YouTube channel, a JLPT-ordered video list, community Anki decks, collected game scripts, and recommended games. Memberships are listed at 5, 10, and 20 US dollars per month for Discord access and extra channel perks.
Watch the videos if you already play. The language is whatever that title uses. It is not Nihongo con Teppei.
Who it fits
It fits people who will sit with one game and one video, then replay the scene. Recent site videos include JLPT N3 vocabulary from Persona 5 Royal and word lists from other titles. Those counts are episode-specific. They are not a curriculum total.
Limits
A backlog of Let’s Plays is not a course. Membership Discord is optional. If you need a first path, stay on Irodori or Genki. Confirm current membership terms on game-gengo.com.
